AlphaFRS Ltd is committed to operating responsibly. As an early-stage technology company, we are building our ESG practices alongside our product. This statement outlines our current approach and commitments.

Environmental

Cloud Infrastructure

Our services run on cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase (hosted on AWS EU-Frankfurt) and third-party AI model providers. We select providers that publish sustainability commitments and operate in regions with access to renewable energy where available. AWS has committed to powering operations with 100% renewable energy by 2025 (source: AWS Sustainability).

AI Compute

AI-powered research generation consumes compute resources. We aim to minimise unnecessary processing by caching results, batching requests where possible, and selecting model sizes appropriate to the task rather than defaulting to the largest available models.

Remote-First Operations

AlphaFRS operates as a remote-first company with no physical office space, reducing emissions associated with commuting and office energy consumption.

Social

Accessibility of Research

Our free tier provides 3 research credits at no cost, giving individuals and small teams access to structured research that would otherwise require expensive analyst subscriptions or consulting engagements.

Responsible AI Use

All reports include clear disclaimers that outputs are AI-generated and do not constitute professional advice. We do not present AI-generated research as human-authored work, and we encourage users to verify findings with qualified professionals before making decisions.

Data Privacy

We process the minimum data necessary to deliver our service. User research inputs are used solely for report generation and are not used to train AI models. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Governance

Transparency

We are transparent about the nature of our product: reports are generated by AI agents, not human analysts. Pricing, credit usage, and terms are clearly communicated. We do not use dark patterns or misleading claims in our marketing.

Data Security

User data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL with row-level security enabled). Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes. All communication is encrypted via TLS.

We comply with GDPR and UK data protection legislation. Users can exercise their data rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) by contacting [email protected].
